Hotel Lyon-Ouest, Lyon

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were large and comfortable with a good and clean bathroom overlooking the river, overall, it was not acceptable at any level. The service was extremely helpful, friendly, clean, and had a nice bathtub to soak in after a long day sightseeing. However, there were some issues with basic hygiene and the food quality. The location, although somewhat deserted with limited dining options, was convenient for travelers with a car due to easy access to different areas. The dining, though quite pricey, offered a good range of options especially enjoyed by the kids. The hotel facilities were adequate.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood on the riverfront, offering nice rooms with comfortable beds and a well-maintained car park. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, even accommodating specific requests for children. While the suburb may not be ideal for sightseeing, it provides a peaceful atmosphere and is close to a renowned restaurant for food enthusiasts.
